The Wenatchee Apple Blossom Festival starts this Thursday. There are all kinds of things going on every day (and night) but the thing I always look forward to are the food venders in Memorial Park. I try to go every day that I can so I can have something different each day.

Hands down the best meal so far comes from Inna’s Cuisine. The Arabhata salmon is the healthiest meal I get during the whole festival. You get a really nice, well-seasoned piece of salmon, roasted vegetables, a verry tasty rice pilaf, and a salad. It’s a lot of food with a lot of flavor. Because I have a sweet tooth, I also got a piece of baklava for later.

According to The Wenatchee World. Inna’s Cuisine opened 18 years ago with an emphasis on recipes from Russia, Ukraine, Greece and Italy. Inna brings from all of eastern Europe including the Ukraine where she was born.

I was actually planning to have a pork loin sandwich from Smokenhagen but they were not open yet and I was on the clock, so maybe tomorrow.

I hope to do “food in the park” again Wednesday. What’s for lunch? You will have to wait to find out. Or drop by the park and give it a taste.
