US 97 Blewett Pass Closed Due to Fire Activity

US 97 Blewett Pass is closed due to a wildfire fire near the summit, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT)

The fire was reported about 1/2 mile south of the Blewett Pass Sno-Park parking lot around 2:20pm.

WSDOT has stopped Northbound traffic at MP 149.5 at the junction with SR970.

Southbound traffic is stopped at MP 177, just south of Valley Hi.

There is no estimate for reopening.
