Post Malone Debuts Unreleased Country Songs During Nashville Show

Post Malone treated an intimate crowd of fans to multiple unreleased songs off his upcoming F-1 Trillion album.

In collaboration with Bud Light, the concert went down at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works on July 16. There, Malone would bring up buddies Blake Shelton, Hardy, Joe Nicoles and Sierra Ferrell for performances of original and cover songs.

Blake Shelton and the Grammy-nominated artist performed their duet “Pour Me A Drink,”  and the crowd truly lost it when Malone announced that Shelton would be joining him on stage. Even Shelton’s wife Gwen Stefani was in attendance, watching her husband from the side of the stage.

“He’s a good buddy of mine and a really sweet man, and one of the most talented people I’ve had the honor of knowing,” Post Malone said as Shelton walked on stage.

Together, they would also take a stab at Shelton’s hit “Some Beach” — a song released in 2004 from his Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill album. This song would become the singer’s third No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Throughout the night, The “I Had Some Help” singer would sprinkle in some his most notable songs, including “Chemical” and “Sunflower.”

Hardy’s time on stage would offer a surprise of their unreleased and never performed song, “Would You Hide My Gun.” The talented vocalist’s notes melted effortlessly together as they strung their harmonies throughout.

Before Hardy left the stage, they would satisfy the audience with the late Joe Diffie’s “Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox (If I Die).” This wasn’t the first Joe Diffie song the pair have sung together. They originally joined forces to sing “Pickup Man” together at the 2023 CMA Awards.

Additionally, Malone brought country crooner Joe Nichols to sing “Brokenheartsville” and bluegrass vocalist Sierra Ferrell to sing “Never Love You Again.”

The singer would debut a total of two unreleased songs during the night. "Yours" was a song that hits deeply personal for the singer.

Before he performed, he let fans know it's about his 2-year-old daughter and the day that she will get married.

Malone capped off the night with his song that’s being hailed as the “song of the summer” — “I Had Some Help.”

The singer’s dispositions one of gratitude throughout the entire night. He continually said: “Cheers, motherf---ers!”

“They called me a one-hit wonder,” he smiles to the crowd. “Thank you to each of you tonight for your love and support — it’s been 10 f---ing years.”

Malone’s highly anticipated country album is set to debut Aug. 16. Additionally, the singer is marrying the project with his F-1 Trillion tour. That is set to kick off Sept. 8 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
