Local Army veteran Darren Perri receives Quilt of Valor. Community celebrates his dedication and service.

At the Veterans Day parade in Wenatchee, a diverse community gathered to honor veterans and reflect on the meaning of service.

The parade will begin at 10:50 a.m. at Wells Fargo Bank on Chelan Avenue, go down towards Orondo Avenue, and finally reach Memorial Park for a brief ceremony.

This year's theme is "Celebrating 70 Years of County Fun For Everyone.
