Veterans Day

At the Veterans Day parade in Wenatchee, a diverse community gathered to honor veterans and reflect on the meaning of service.

Navy veteran Sid North came to the parade wearing a navy-colored kilt to commemorate his time serving in the Navy from 1960-64.

The parade will begin at 10:50 a.m. at Wells Fargo Bank on Chelan Avenue, go down towards Orondo Avenue, and finally reach Memorial Park for a brief ceremony.

So doing these special events like the Military Appreciation Campout fundraiser, isn’t something out of the ordinary for Dave Rayfield. And this particular event is something he started because it was on his heart. Knowing it takes the community to help make it successful.
