Right now I am desperately missing riding my bike on the Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail, or as us 509 locals call it The Loop. It is a bicycle and pedestrian trail in Wenatchee, WA. It follows 10 miles of the west and east shores of the Columbia River.
Small towns has it’s charms and that’s why people want out of the overcrowded, heavily traffic, crime infested big cities. We love a close-knit community where we care for and love each other.
When the Wenatchee Valley it all lit up from the bright sun, it’s truly a sight to be seen. Really at any time of the year. Spring you smell all the flowers coming back, the snow finally melting away, the days a little longer, just feels “new.”

It's only early February in the Wenatchee Valley and the Northern Hemisphere, and even though there are still those six weeks of winter remaining that Punxsutawney Phil predicted, the weather here at home is already starting to feel a lot more like spring with each passing day...
There are people who will simply tell you, you live here, you’re local. You vote locally. Many say, when you feel comfortable living here, like a putting on a pair of your favorite bluejeans. Some say it’s when you finally get a driver’s license or new checks with your new local address.
You ever been in a rush to get to work, yet it seems as though you are hitting every. Single. Red. Light. I get it, I’ve been directly in those shoes and have been just as frustrated as you!

A couple of months ago you might remember that NASA was able to successfully crash their DART (Double Asteroid Redirection Test) spacecraft into the asteroid Dimorphos, which deflected the 530 foot rock off its course. The NASA scientist cried (with joy) like I cried (like a baby who needed their diapers changed) watching the Steve Carell/Keira Knightly romantic/drama, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.
