Go Enjoy The Fall Release Wine Weekend In Walla Walla

If you’ve read my mentions of the Walla Walla wine region - you should reserve a weekend to experience this award-winning place yourself!

There is an annual event that would be perfect for you to experience and finally tick it off on your bucket list. 

The Walla Walla Fall Release occurs annually on the first weekend of November. This year (2023) it’s taking place from November 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The wineries from the Walla Walla AVA will debut their fall releases.

The Walla Walla AVA

The Walla Walla region was given ‘an AVA designation in the 80s. An American Viticultural Area is a designated wine grape-growing region in the United States observed by geographic features, with distinct boundaries.

Official recognition began in February of 1984 when the federal government designated the Walla Walla Valley as an American Viticultural Area’ -WallaWallaWine.com

 

Walla Walla is one of 20 AVA regions in Washington State - 19 of which are east of the Cascades.

Come experience any of the 120 wineries - all located in the six Walla Walla Wine Districts
