MAV3RICK SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK: Drake Milligan

OK, I have to admit that I am not a fan of these competition shows like American Idol or The Voice. I don’t watch them. But I may have to start because in the past few months, I’ve picked several artists to play as the Mav3rick Spotlight of the Week that I would later find out have been on these reality shows. And this week is yet another. I swear, I’m not doing this on purpose. 

This week on KISSIN’ 977 we feature New Country from Drake Milligan called, Sounds Like Something I’d Do. Milligan competed on American Idol in 2018, but dropped out, only to show up on America’s Got Talent in 2022, where he placed 3rd in September. Now, if you’re like me and never watched AI or AGT, you may have recongized Drake Milligan who answered a casting call on CMT to play the part of Elvis Presley in the CMT series, Sun Records. He easily got the part because he is not only an Elvis fan, he’s been impersonating The King on stage for years!
