MAV3RICK SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK: Stars Like Confetti -Dustin Lynch 

Some artists come and go. But Dustin Lynch keeps on rockin’ like every project, every song, has to be like a stunning new song that’s is as fresh as any new country artist that explodes on the scene. And in my opinion, Dustin Lynch has done just that…again…with his new country tune, Stars Like Confetti. Stars Like Confetti is from his 2022 album, Blue In The Sky that features other fantastic songs like, Party Mode, and Thinking About You (with MacKenzie Porter). And if you have the Blue In The Sky album or have it saved on your Spotify playlist, you probably have quite a few favorites that could easily be a hit song on Kissin’ 977. 

I love this song because it feels as good as putting on your favorite pair of blue jeans. It’s the perfect feel good song that makes me wish I was falling in love, just so I could dedicate it to the girl I can’t stop gushing over. In fact, Dustin Lynch himself is single, and says he too wishes he was off the market. But with so much time being spent on the road touring, it makes it heard to find that one girl. In fact, the music video for this song, Stars Like Confetti isn’t a visual interpation of the lyrics, but it’s actually footage of his fans getting ready for one of his concerts. Although it you pay close attention to the video, there’s a bit of a story going on. Plus, there’s a special guest from a country legend in the video. See if you can spot him.
