Wenatchee Valley Fire crews responded to three residential fires, including two in Sunnyslope. One structure was a total loss; no injuries reported.

Starting July 1, campfires and other fire-prone activities will be banned on Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife lands due to wildfire risk.

Use of fireworks is banned as of this year in both Wenatchee and East Wenatchee.
