Washington State Sunsets, Too Beautiful Not to Share
I have grown up in Washington state, and while I've traveled a little, and have seen some beautiful evening paintings created by Mother Nature, I have to say, I'm highly bias towards a NCW Sunset! You'll see why below.
Sunsets of Washington State: Captured through Aly's iPhone lenses.
1. Sagebrush Flats / Palisades WA:
I was able to take a drive into the Palisades and parked up top at Sagebrush Flats to watch the beauty.
2. Base of Wenatchee Heights, Looking to East Wenatchee -
Can you believe, this is a view I had from an apartment in Wenatchee?! Loved the views from that balcony.
3. Lake Roosevelt WA -
Taken on the 4th of July 2016... Thats a bald eagle in the lighter part of the horizon #Merica
4. Spokane WA -
Not often do I travel to Spokane WA, but the skyline always makes it worth it!
5. Porch View, looking towards Wenatchee WA -
Note the little feet. My little girl and I are sunset chasers. A trait I love about us.
6. Potholes State Park, WA -
Another 4th of July evening, Love the horizon and sunsets while relaxing at the State Park, camping, laughing and eating smores!
7. Looking towards Wenatchee WA:
This, I promise you on everything, this has no filter. It was eerily cool looking, and the snow just magnified the pink hue!
8. Cashmere WA -
Picturesque good ole small town football game. Breathtaking sunsets year after year captured at the Cashmere Bulldog ballfields.
9. From East Wenatchee Looking Towards Highway 2:
The Enchantments in the background with the Columbia River below, I am very lucky to call this place Home.
10. Cashmere WA looking towards Dryden WA -
I mean, simply no words! Chefs Kiss!
11. Home -
I do not have to travel but maybe to my couch to catch a beautiful sunset... I was laying on my couch the other evening and caught this dreamy scene.
As you can tell, I am a sucker for sunsets, especially the clouds with the pink to deep hues. We are very lucky to have these views for free, wherever you are, just have to look up.
