In short answer, Yes.

As for which one you are talking about, maybe? But the flash of white light streaking across the sky I saw on Saturday June 3rd, 2023, in Cashmere WA, was definitely something I consider to be a Meteor! Here's how I know.

Let's just go back and paint the picture first.

Sitting in my living room about 10:30ish on a quiet Saturday evening. I am watching Netflix and where my TV is placed, I can see the sky in the window behind. Now at night, I cannot see regular stars via the window, and I will get traffic light shining through, but I am on the second floor so it's never direct light glaring in.

(picture below for an idea of how I could see out of my window.)

I saw a streak of light. It seemed almost bright white in light colors, had a tail of light drifting off from it. I did not see it "fade out," like you would a shooting star. My view of the streak of light did however cut out of view via my window being only so big.

I did see it go to the North/ North-west-ish direction.

It rather stunned me for a second with how big the Meteor actually was. I only saw the light but I specifically remember saying out loud,

"Uhh.... That didn't seem like "just a shooting star..."

Now let's get to the actual recorded data provided by the American Meteor Society.

Apparently you can go to their website and not only report a sighting, but you can also see other reparted sightings. Where they are from, what country's saw them and their states/territories. Really cool stuff to check out. And if you are curious about what I saw, and if others saw as well, just click here!

From Portland Oregon, Cashmere WA, and even up into British Columbia (to name a few), around the time and date that I saw my "Fireball." I can say, others saw it too!

Reporting a "fireball," on a website is new to me, and I really want to look into what others around the world have reported!
